Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nights Richmond, Virginia
The organization is seeking an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse for a Nights shift in Richmond, Virginia. The role supports a Surgical ICU environment with patient care involving ventilated and high-acuity needs. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse licensure (license must be brought on the first day)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Minimum of 2 years recent ICU experience
- Preferred Qualifications: Surgical ICU, neuro, and trauma experience
- Responsibilities:
- Provide critical care nursing for patients in a Surgical ICU setting
- Care for patients requiring intensive monitoring and support, including ventilation needs and other general ICU equipment
- Participate in care for patients undergoing trauma, vascular, abdominal, and neuro surgical procedures
- Additional Information:
- Patient ratio: 2:1
- Typical equipment: general ICU equipment, ventilator, and other support equipment as applicable
- Floating area(s): ICU/step-down
- Weekends: every other weekend
- On-call: no call
- Dress code: navy scrub color/attire
