Job Summary:
The operating room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) position is based in State College, Pennsylvania. This role involves providing professional nursing care within a fast-paced, high-traffic medical environment supporting surgical procedures. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position offers scheduled daytime shifts from Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with one shorter day per week to complete a 40-hour workweek.

- Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license; Meets the American Heart Association (AHA) standards for Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) and renews BLS every two years; Zero years of experience required; Ability to react calmly and effectively during emergency situations; Ability to communicate clearly and follow written and verbal instructions of the physician; Ability to identify and analyze problems, prioritize, and make quick, confident decisions; Ability to administer medications and treatments, utilize equipment for examination and treatment procedures.
- Additional Information: The environment may involve exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, bodily fluids, and other conditions common to a clinic setting. Working irregular hours and travel to other offices may be required. Physical demands include full range of motion, manual and finger dexterity, sitting, standing, walking for extended periods, occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds, and normal vision and hearing.
