Certs BLS, ACLS, NRP (Required) FHM (Preferred)
Ratios couplet 1:3, Laboring1:1
FHM System OBIX
EMR MediTech
Floating NICU (for feeders and growers only)
C-section experience required Yes (circulate required)
Floor specific orientation 1-2 days
Common diagnosis / Types of patients: 32 weeks - otherwise with transfer out, no VBAC, mag sulfate, insulin
Additional Notes Mothers labor & deliver in one bed. There is no nursery; newborns stay in bassinets in their mothers' rooms. Babies never leave their mothers' sides.
They believe in skin-to-skin care. There is strong team-work in this department. In April 2018 they were honored for their designation as a 'Safe Sleep Champion' by the Department of Health & Human Services (DHHS).
