Registered Nurse (RN), Medical Surgical With Telemetry Farmington, New Mexico
The organization is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a Medical Surgical with Telemetry role in Farmington, New Mexico. This position supports patient care within a medical unit, with a patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:6. Candidates must bring their license on the first day and hold required certifications in accordance with role expectations.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days, 7:00 AM7:00 PM, 12 shift hours, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) must be American Heart Association (AHA)
- Experience: 1 year minimum in medical/surgical (med/surg) nursing (2 years preferred)
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Charge nurse experience (preferred but not required)
- Oncology skills/experience (helpful, but not necessary)
- Additional Information:
- The policy recommends all staff work at least 2 weekend shifts per month
- Float: per facility needs
- Equipment commonly used includes vital sign equipment (VS machine), bladder scanner, IV pumps, thermal imaging, lifts, and tube feeding pumps
- Electronic health record: Cerner
