Job Summary: Los Alamos, New Mexico Registered Nurse (Labor & Delivery)
The organization is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Labor & Delivery unit, supporting care for childbearing-aged patients and newborns. This role involves working within the Labor & Delivery environment and providing patient-focused, team-oriented care. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Shift: Nights, 12 shift hours, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Current Registered Nurse license required to work as a Labor & Delivery nurse in New Mexico; Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); Association of Womens Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN); Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); previous LDRP/PP experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous LDRP/PP experience.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: Patient ratios are 2-1:1 for Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) with 3 couplets:1 for Post Partum care. Orientation is weekly, on Mondays.
