Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to patients in labor and delivery.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Execute nursing interventions and document patient care activities in accordance with policies.
- Perform high-risk deliveries and provide specialized care for antepartum patients.
- Assist with emergency procedures and coordinate patient triage in OB units.
- Mentor and guide staff in charge nurse responsibilities and protocols.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse license in Alaska or ability to obtain within 48 hours of signing.
- Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience.
- BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate and Advanced, NRP certifications required.
- Proficiency with Epic Charting System.
- Strong skills in administering high-risk delivery procedures and emergency care.
- Willingness to work weekends and nights as required by the unit.
