Job Summary:
A Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in the outpatient setting located in Monterey, California. This position involves providing quality outpatient orthopedic post-operative care. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The shift is scheduled for 8-hour days, Monday through Friday.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 8-hour days, Monday through Friday, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid PTA license; BLS (AHA) certification; at least 1 year of outpatient orthopedic post-operative experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The position is located in a smoke-free facility where all drug reports must have a negative result for nicotine/cotinine. If tested positive, reports will be reviewed if a nicotine patch has been prescribed. Reports with no legitimate reason for positive nicotine/cotinine results will lead to contract cancellation. The facility utilizes EPIC as its electronic charting system. The organization reserves the right to cancel the professional's assignment with 36 hours' notice during a 13-week assignment.
