Job Summary:
A Diagnostic Imaging Technologist specialized in Computed Tomography (CT) at an acute care facility located in Apple Valley, California. This role involves providing advanced CT imaging services, including abdomen with and without contrast, head, chest, pelvis, vascular imaging, and various specialized procedures. Candidates are required to bring their California license on the first day of the assignment. The position offers a flexible schedule with rotating shifts, and the start date is scheduled for 07/14/2026.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, starting at 0600, 0800, 1500, or 1700 hours; minimum of 36 hours per week; rotating shift schedule; start date: 07/14/2026.
- Required Qualifications: CA licensed CT Technologist with at least 1 year of experience in adult acute care, outpatient, and emergency department imaging; certifications including BLS, ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) in CT or Radiography, ARRT Advanced, CA CRT; ability to perform abdomen with/or without contrast, head, chest, pelvis, vascular imaging, and other specialized CT procedures; experience with GE and Toshiba equipment; familiarity with PACS; and current LA fire card within the last 30 days.
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in trauma and stroke centers, certified in additional specialized procedures, and familiarity with patient safety protocols.
- Additional Information: The department is high-volume, primarily treating ED patients and stroke cases. Open to candidates willing to work a block schedule as needed, with flexible on-call requirements. Candidates must disclose their license and background check results upfront; open license hits are not accepted. The position requires float between all facilities within California, and refusal to float may result in termination or loss of guaranteed hours. Candidate must be available to work on holidays and provide at least two references covering the last year. Vaccination requirements include the COVID-19 and Flu vaccines, with current LA fire safety card required.
