Job Summary:
This Telemetry RN (Registered Nurse) position is located in Asheville, North Carolina. The role involves providing patient care on an interventional spine unit with a focus on procedures such as epidural injections, sacral iliac joint injections, hip injections, and medical branch blocks. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, minimum 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, no minimum years of experience required, located in North Carolina
- Preferred Qualifications: Proficiency in patient assessments, knowledge of blood thinners and NSAIDS, experience with IV starts, and familiarity with Cerner electronic medical record system
- Float: Float rotation may be required
- Additional Information: The unit has 13 beds staffed by 3-4 RNs and 1 Radiologic Technologist per shift. The typical patient ratio is 1:1 or 1:2. The team employs vital signs monitors, C-arm fluoroscopy, lead aprons, and adheres to uniform dress code of white scrub top and navy scrub pants.
