Opportunity:
RN - Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse
Job Details:
• Work in a Level 2E NICU with 10 bays and 1 isolation room
• Care for neonatal patients 32 weeks gestation and up
• Patient ratios of 1:1-3 based on acuity for both day and night shifts
• Attend and participate in baby stabilization for neonates 32 weeks and up
• Stabilize and prepare transport for neonates under 32 weeks gestation
• 2 years of experience preferred; first-time travelers considered upon review
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP
• Charting and equipment includes EPIC, Alaris, Pyxis, and Bridge access for donor milk and breast milk administration
• Scrubs provided by the hospital
• Free parking available
• Orientation includes at least one shift on the unit to learn workflow
Facility:
This facility is a 176-bed hospital holding Magnet Designation and serving as both a Level 2 Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center. The NICU operates as a Level 2E unit with around-the-clock support including charge nurses, a receptionist on the mother-baby unit, pediatric hospitalists, daily neonatologist rounds, on-call OB coverage, and phlebotomy assistance for peripheral blood draws.
