Job Summary:
A Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography (CT) is sought for a position in Portland, Oregon. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The role involves performing advanced CT imaging procedures in a Level 3 trauma hospital environment, primarily during night shifts. The position demands experience with Epic electronic medical records and specific certifications.
Job Details:
- Location: Portland, Oregon
- Shift: Nights, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: ARRT Certified CT Technologist (CT), Oregon State OBMI, BLS certification, 1 year of experience, recent direct patient care within the last year, community hospital experience, Epic charting system experience, travel experience required, and experience with GE scanners.
- Special Requirements: Must have worked at a Level 3 trauma hospital. Epic experience is a hard stop. Must be comfortable with advanced CT procedures such as 3D rendering, brain perfusion, vascular CT, and soft tissue neck imaging.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with adult acute care, adult outpatient procedures, and additional certifications related to advanced imaging procedures.
- Additional Information: Candidates must commit to working three of the five major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day). A vehicle is required for this assignment. The candidate may be expected to float between hospital units or nearby facilities.
- Submission Requirements: Include responses to prior employment at Providence facilities, provide two references from within the last three years, and confirm travel experience.
