Job Summary:
This opportunity is for a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in the Labor & Delivery (L&D) department in Nashville, Tennessee. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The role involves working in an LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) unit within the Womens Services Department. The assignment is scheduled for nights, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license; Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) & Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA); NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS); STABLE; AWHONN (Advanced); Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) or Mental/Behavioral (MAB) certification; Experience in OB Assist or Labor & Delivery units; Compliance clearance required 10 days prior to orientation.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in OB Assist or Labor & Delivery units
- Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: Candidates must demonstrate compliance with all required certifications and clearance procedures. Orientation dates are set for multiple RN specialties, including Emergency Department, Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, Forensics (Medical/Surgical - Tele), Intensive Care Unit, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Postpartum, and Labor & Delivery. It is also included explicitly that more than three call-outs during the contracted period may result in termination of the assignment. The organization can cancel one shift every four weeks during the contract. Charge or preceptor responsibilities may be required and will be reflected on the HCPs timesheet.
