Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Telemetry to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in the telemetry unit.
- Monitor cardiac and vital signs using appropriate technology and equipment.
- Administer medications and manage drips, including Nitro, Heparin, and Insulin.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
- Float to various units including 4CS, 5 West, and other specified units as needed.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records using EPIC charting system.
Qualifications
- Current RN license; pending Nebraska State License accepted.
- BLS certification required; ACLS strongly preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a large, urban hospital setting.
- Experience with cardiac telemetry and management of dysrhythmias.
- Proficiency in EPIC charting required.
- 100% nicotine-free compliance required.
