Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN - PCU/IMC/Stepdown to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage cardiac patients including those with congestive heart failure and acute coronary syndrome.
- Administer and monitor cardiac drips and vasoactive drips with no titration required.
- Interpret and manage dysrhythmias and telemetry monitoring on the unit.
- Conduct pre and post cardiac catheterization care and management of PICC lines.
- Provide procedural sedation and manage external CPAP/BIPAP and tracheostomy care.
- Utilize Rapid Response Teams and support unit-based care activities 24/7.
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of assignment required.
- Minimum of 2 years of PCU or IMC experience required, cardiac experience mandatory.
- Previous charge nurse experience preferred.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIHSS preferred.
- Experience with EPIC charting system preferred.
- Ability to work a self-assisted schedule and adapt to departmental needs essential.
