Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Certified Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist for a nights shift position in the Washington state area. The role involves performing computed tomography procedures in a hospital setting, primarily working with emergency department and inpatient patient populations. The candidate will be responsible for operating imaging equipment, gaining patient cooperation, and adhering to safety standards.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights shift, Sun 1900 start time, 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) CT and Radiography, Washington state license (must be in hand or have proof of applying 6+ weeks prior).
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Electronic Patient Medical Record (EMR) systems, specifically EPIC, and proficiency in working with emergency department and inpatient populations.
- Additional Information: The candidate must have at least 1 year of hospital CT and X-ray experience. The role involves working with emergency department and inpatient patients, performing portable X-rays, and managing intravenous starts. Scrubs may be any color or pattern, or candidates may wear business casual attire. On-call duties are not required.
