Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Stepdown Unit Registered Nurse, providing exceptional care in a fast-paced hospital environment. The position includes potential floating to other units to manage similar patient populations.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in stepdown or PCU settings.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs and ECG rhythms.
- Administer medications and perform necessary medical interventions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- A minimum of 18 months combined permanent experience in the specialty, with at least 18 months of recent Stepdown experience.
- Active nurse license in Ohio or a compact state license in hand.
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
- Two professional references from direct supervisors in the specialty are required.
