Job Summary:
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) registered nurse position located in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This role involves providing care in a fast-paced, telemedicine-oriented unit dedicated to post-surgical patients. The position offers an opportunity to work within a collaborative team environment and utilize established order sets and protocols to optimize patient outcomes.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid registered nurse (RN) licensure, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), 0 years of experience, and a minimum of 50 miles from the facility. EMR: Cerner preferred but not required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Medical Surgical and Telemetry units; familiarity with Cerner electronic medical records.
- Floats: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The unit maintains a 37-bed capacity with a patient ratio of 1 to 5. Scrub colors include black and royal blue. Travelers must attach required licenses and certifications, and include a drivers license with permanent home address matching ID. Local candidates are not accepted.
