Registered Nurses provide high-quality, compassionate patient care in a collaborative medical-surgical environment. Nurses may work across various Med-Surg units caring for patients with acute and chronic medical conditions, post-surgical recovery needs, orthopedic and neurological conditions, renal disorders, respiratory patients, and other complex medical diagnoses. The focus is on delivering exceptional patient care while working closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Position Overview
- Permanent, full-time role
- 36 hours per week
- Day and night shifts available
- 12-hour shifts
- 3 shifts per week
- Opportunities available across multiple medical-surgical units

Patient Population
- General medical-surgical patients
- Post-operative surgical patients
- Orthopedic patients
- Neurological and spine surgery patients
- Urology patients
- Renal patients (acute and chronic kidney disease)
- Dialysis patients
- Fluid overload management
- Respiratory patients, including BiPAP and stable ventilator patients
- Hospitalist, internal medicine, and family practice patients
Clinical Experience & Skills
- Comprehensive medical-surgical nursing care
- Post-operative patient management
- Patient assessment and care planning
- Central line, PICC line, and midline care
- Wound care and wound vac management
- Foley catheter insertion and maintenance
- Drain management (JP, Hemovac, Accordion drains)
- Blood product administration
- Nasogastric tube insertion and maintenance
- Telemetry monitoring and interpretation
- Respiratory patient management
- Patient education and discharge planning

Requirements
- ASN or BSN in Nursing (Diploma in Nursing considered)
- Current Indiana RN license
- BLS certification
- Previous RN experience preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced acute care environment
