Job Summary:
The Labor and Delivery Department registered nurse position is located in Lima, Ohio. This role involves providing comprehensive obstetric and neonatal patient care within a dedicated perinatal unit. The RN will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for assigned patients based on age-specific criteria, and will support the clinical team to ensure optimal outcomes.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Rotating shift with 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Active Ohio or Ohio Compact registered nurse license, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification, Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification, American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications, at least 2 years of obstetrics (OB) experience, and completion of one travel assignment.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience functioning as a first assist and scrub OB nurse is highly preferred.
- Additional Information: Must demonstrate flexibility with work schedule changes. Candidates with a permanent address within a 45-mile radius of the facility are considered local travelers under Lima's local traveler policy, which reduces travel rate. Candidates must be able to perform in varied shifts, including days or nights, with preference for those who can work varied schedules.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates should showcase work history, skills checklist pertinent to obstetrics (OBGYN), and current certifications valid within the past year.
