Job Summary:
The Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) registered nurse position is located in Oakland, California. This role involves providing high-quality post-anesthesia recovery care in a busy healthcare environment. The position requires adherence to facility protocols and delivering patient-centered care in accordance with established standards.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, minimum 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications:
- One (1) year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience in a clinical setting
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Current licensed Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Life Support (PALS) certification
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field
- Procedural Sedation Competency
- Minimum of two (2) years of critical care experience with adult patients, preferably in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) environment
- Minimum of two (2) years of clinical care experience with pediatric patients, preferably in Emergency Room (ER), Intensive Care Unit (ICU), or PACU environment
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience providing Procedural Sedation in outpatient settings
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in pain management injection procedures
- Additional Information:
- Must have valid licenses and certifications as specified
