Travel Registered Nurse – OB/Labor & Delivery
Shift: 12-Hour Variable Day/Night Shifts
Contract: 9 Weeks
Join a collaborative Obstetrics team providing Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Newborn Nursery, and Level I Maternity care in a supportive Critical Access Hospital environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care for labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn patients.
- Perform fetal monitoring, maternal and newborn assessments, patient education, and triage.
- Care for Level I maternity and nursery patients while following AWHONN staffing guidelines.
- Float within OB/L&D and assist other departments with non-patient assignment tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Active Wisconsin RN License
- AHA or ARC BLS and Advanced NRP required
- AWHONN and PALS preferred
- Minimum 2 years of OB/Labor & Delivery experience
- At least one completed travel assignment required
- Critical Access Hospital experience preferred
- Recent Epic EMR experience
- Strong Labor & Delivery competency
Assignment Highlights
- 9-week contract
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Variable 12-hour day/night shifts
- Weekend rotation: 2 weekends every 4 weeks
- Holiday rotation required
- Level I Maternity and Level I Nursery
- 2 Labor Rooms and 6 Postpartum Beds
- Team-based care following AWHONN staffing guidelines
- Scrubs provided for surgical cases
