Job Summary:
The Gilbert, Arizona-based Nuclear Medicine Technologist position offers an opportunity to perform prescribed nuclear medicine procedures, ensuring adherence to departmental policies, procedures, and protocols. The role involves delivering high-quality imaging and patient care, while maintaining safety and compliance standards in a direct patient care environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Shift scheduled for days, with 8 hours per shift and a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited Radiologic/Nuclear Medicine Technology program; national certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Nuclear Board and/or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board or equivalent; licensure by the state regulatory agency if applicable; BLS certification; with at least 2 years of clinical experience in the field.
- Preferred Qualifications: Additional related education and/or experience are preferred.
- Additional Information: This position requires proficiency in performing nuclear medicine procedures, knowledge of radiopharmaceutical administration, equipment quality control, and safety practices including ALARA principles. Candidates should demonstrate effective communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
