Job Description & Requirements

- Certs: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NRP
- Nurse/Patient ratio: 1:5 Max, typically 1: 3-4
- 2-3 days of Orientation
- Patient Modality: Acute, Skilled, Hospice
- Special Equipment: ICU medical IV pumps, Nihon Kohden bedside monitors, Novastat glucometer, Airvo, Bipap
- Specific Procedures and Protocols: IV start, EKGs, O2 initiation and weaning, bipap, standard nursing skills, sepsis, stroke, MI, trauma
- Discontinuing sheaths
- Drips and infusions are frequent
