Responsibilities:
- Provide patient care for CV surgery and vascular surgery patients, including open heart procedures, thoracic lung surgeries, AAA repairs, and fem-pop bypasses.
- Monitor patients post-operation on telemetry and stepdown units, ensuring safe recovery and stabilization.
- Manage epidural, chest tube, and IV therapies using various medical equipment.
- Administer cardiac medications and manage hemodynamic gtt infusions as prescribed.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes and adherence to unit policies.
