Job Summary:
The Respiratory Therapist Registered (Respiratory Therapist Reg) position is based in a pediatric care setting within an organization located in Norfolk, Virginia. The role involves working with vented pediatric patients across various areas such as emergency department, neonatal intensive care unit, pediatric intensive care unit, and general pediatrics. The position offers a 12-hour night shift with a guaranteed 48 hours per week, including every other weekend and holidays, with an immediate start date.

- Required Qualifications:
- 17 years of experience in pediatric respiratory therapy
- Must have VA license in hand
- Valid certifications including Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Willing to work with vented patients in areas such as Emergency Department, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, and general pediatric care
- Conducting diagnostic tests, developing treatment plans, and providing emergency care when needed
- Credentialing documentation due two weeks prior to start date
- MSP requirement enforced
