Job Summary
Medical Surgical Telemetry Nurse in Newberg, Oregon. This position involves float assignments between units, requiring proficiency in telemetry and medication management, with a focus on providing quality patient care in a short-term acute care setting. The role supports adult and geriatric patient populations within a Level IV Trauma Center environment.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: 1 year of experience in medical surgical with telemetry, current ACLS and BLS certifications, proficiency with Epic electronic charting system, valid Oregon licensure or pending licensure, strong experience in cardiac telemetry, medication administration, and inpatient care.
- Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in trauma level I or II, familiarity with Rapid Response teams, and experience working in a busy acute care setting.
- Float: Float rotation may be required between units based on patient care needs.
- Additional Information: Candidates must be trained in telemetry and medication administration. Responsiveness to emergency codes and adherence to Epic charting policies are mandatory. Candidates should have reliable transportation, as travel between sister facilities may be required. A maximum of 6 days of return to work off (RTO) is allowed, with all scheduling requests to be specified during submittal.
