Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with documented experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) to provide high-quality care for a cardiac population. The position involves working in a 28-bed PCU/IMCU with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3-4, handling conditions such as STEMI, NSTEMI, and chest pain.
Responsibilities
- Administer cardiac drips including Milrinone and Dobutamine, as well as pressors.
- Monitor patient status and respond effectively to change in conditions.
- Provide care to telemetry beds within the same unit for lower acuity levels.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a like-sized facility.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
