Job Summary:
Pre Op Registered Nurse position available in Dallas, Texas. This role involves supporting adult and pediatric day surgery units, with a focus on preoperative assessment and patient care. The selected candidate will work four 10-hour shifts weekly, primarily during daytime hours, providing critical support in a fast-paced surgical environment.
Job Details:
- Shift: Days, 10 hours per shift, with minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); familiarity with Meditech electronic medical record system; experience in day surgery, preoperative, or perioperative patient care; location in Dallas, TX; 0+ years of experience
- Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric experience, Pre Admit Testing experience
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: Candidate must be flexible, friendly, and a team player. Self-scheduling is permitted with the ability to adapt based on unit needs. Must be available to work two Mondays and two Fridays per schedule period as well as during inclement weather.
