**Join Our Dynamic Med/Surg Team in Scenic Sierra Vista, AZ!**
**Job Description:**
- **Location:** Canyon Vista Medical Center, 5700 E Highway 90, Sierra Vista, AZ 85635
- **Unit:** Acute Care
- **Specialty:** Med/Surg
- **Shift:** 3x12s (7P - 7A)
- **Weekend Requirements:** Occasional weekend shifts (same hours)
- **Call Requirements:** Only when down staffed or placed on call
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide high-quality nursing care to a diverse patient population, including geriatric, adult, and occasional pediatric patients (not assigned to traveler)
- Collaborate with a dedicated healthcare team in a patient-centered environment
- Monitor and manage patient conditions effectively using advanced equipment (e.g., alaris pumps, SCD machines, telemonitor)
- Utilize EHR system (Cerner) for accurate patient record keeping
**Requirements:**
- **Certifications:** ACLS, BLS (core staff have PALs)
- **Experience:** Minimum of 1 year in a healthcare setting; prefer candidates with tele experience
- **Education:** Valid RN license
- **Skills:** Flexible and willing to assist colleagues in a fast-paced environment
- **Patient Ratios:** 6:1
**Dress Code:**
- **Scrubs:** Any color
- **Footwear:** Closed-toed shoes
- **Note:** Only scrubs are allowed for clinical staff
