Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) role located within a clinic in Richland, Washington. This assignment involves providing specialized care for obstetric emergencies, including placenta previa, ectopic pregnancy, pregnancy-induced hypertension, and other maternity and gynecological conditions. The RN will be responsible for triaging patients, responding to inquiries via electronic medical records and voice messaging, and performing various clinic duties related to women's health.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per shift, minimum 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: WA or Compact RN license with the license application submitted within 2 weeks; 1 year of experience in obstetric or labor and delivery nursing; EPIC experience required; Ability to start ASAP for a 13-week assignment; First-time travelers accepted
- Preferred Qualifications: Outpatient obstetric or labor and delivery experience
- Float: Float rotation may be required
- Additional Information:
- Knowledge of obstetric emergencies such as placenta previa, ectopic pregnancy, and pregnancy-induced hypertension is essential
- Ability to appropriately triage over the phone and respond to patient inquiries
- Must commit to working three out of five designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day) and request all time-off or scheduling restrictions upfront during submittal
- Travelers may be expected to float between nearby sister facilities; refusal to float may result in contract termination
