Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in Asheville, North Carolina. This role involves providing specialized care for neonatal patients in a 51-bed unit within a reputable hospital. The position offers a full-time schedule with dayshift hours, supporting the hospital's commitment to high-quality pediatric and neonatal care.
Job Details:
- Location: 509 Biltmore Avenue, Asheville, NC 28801
- Unit Information: NICU with 51 beds and a patient ratio of 1:1, 1:2, 1:3, 1:4.
- Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Critical care experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) with at least 2 years of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) experience. Valid Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required. Experience in Level III or higher NICU settings preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with NICU experience at Level III or higher are prioritized.
- Additional Information: The unit cares for infants and neonates requiring specialized procedures; candidates should be detail-oriented and organized.
