Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist (Registered) in HILO, Hawaii. This position involves providing respiratory care across adult, pediatric, and neonatal patient populations, with a focus on airway management, ventilator support, and physician consultation. The assignment requires the candidate to hold Hawaii licensure and meet specific certification requirements.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shift from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, three 12-hour shifts weekly (36 hours), with no guarantee of hours. The assignment duration is 15 weeks starting on 08/31/2026.
- Required Qualifications: Hawaii State Respiratory Therapy License, BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications are required. Minimum of 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy caring for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients. Proof of flu vaccination or facility-approved medical or religious exception is required prior to contract start date.
- Preferred Qualifications: Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification is preferred.
- Additional Information: Candidates must arrive the Thursday before start date to attend the employee health appointment on Friday. No first-time assignments accepted.
