Job Details
- Position Description: This role assesses patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs. It reviews patient history and physical with patients and families, collaborates with the healthcare team, and formulates individualized plans of care. The nurse provides direct patient care, delegates tasks appropriately, and documents all interventions and patient responses. The role also involves contributing to the improvement of patient outcomes and supporting growth of other team members through mentoring.
- Required Qualifications: Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice or equivalent, BLS certification, and at least 1 year of recent experience in an acute care hospital setting within the past 12 months.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in nursing and professional certification.
- Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: The position may involve supervising staff and work flow in the department and interacting with patients, families, and healthcare colleagues across various settings to coordinate care.
