Unit Specifics:

· Number of Beds : 36

· Patient Ratios : 4:1 with cath recovery, 6:1 max ratio. At times may be stretched to 7:1

· Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) PCTS on day and night shift. Unit Clerks on day shift

· Type of equipment : Remote Telemetry monitors, Alaris pumps

· Documentation system: Meditech

· Scheduling requirements: every other weekend

· Floating policy: Agency floats first ( may float to Ortho/Med-Surg)

· Patient Experience requirements: Strive for 75% patient satisfaction rate
