Job Details:
- Position Description: Progressive Cardiac Care Unit, Unit Information: PCCU 63101. The role encompasses caring for patients with complex needs in a 34-bed unit staffed by 44 healthcare professionals, divided between day and night shifts.
- Required Qualifications: RN license, associate or bachelors degree in nursing, placement in Arlington, TX, with zero years of experience required.
- Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 09/22/2026 and ending on 12/22/2026.
- Additional Information: The unit is seeking candidates with ICU or PCU level of care experience, precepting experience preferred. Candidates should be flexible, adaptable, quick learners, and maintain a positive attitude. Certification in BLS and ACLS is required; PCCN, TNCC, or TCAR certifications are preferred. Familiarity with procedures such as Foley and NGT insertions and wound care is desirable. The unit recently became the official trauma PCU for the hospital and is committed to upskilling staff.
