Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse Oregon. This position involves providing high-quality emergency care within the scope of practice as defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing. The role requires applying the nursing process, educating patients and families, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Job Details
- Position Description: Responsible for delivering emergency nursing care, documenting patient information in medical records, and working as part of a team to coordinate patient care effectively.
- Required Qualifications: Oregon license (willing to obtain if not active), recent (within 2 years) acute care hospital experience, minimum of 2 years ER experience, certifications including TNCC, BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), and willingness to obtain certifications if expired.
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Submission requirements include a resume and skills checklist completed within one year. On-call schedule and weekend schedule to be determined by the facility.
