RN – Medical Intermediate Care / Telemetry
Daly 6B
Unit Overview
Daly 6B is a 42-bed Medical Intermediate Care Unit divided between:
- 21 Medical-Telemetry beds
- 21 Intermediate Care / Step-Down beds
RNs are expected to work on both sides of the unit and must be comfortable caring for both telemetry and higher-acuity IMC patients.
Experience
- 1–2 years preferred
- Prior Telemetry / Step-Down / IMC experience strongly preferred

- Tracheostomy care
- Ventilator patients
- High-flow nasal cannula
- BiPAP
- Cardiac drips
- Telemetry monitoring
- Intermediate/step-down level patient care
Floating
Floating to other appropriate units may occur based on facility needs.
