Job Summary
IMCU Nurse Intermediate Care Unit Locations vary. This role involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards. The Nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care while providing health education and counseling to patients in a supportive and restorative manner.
Job Details
- Schedule: Nights (3-12 hour shifts), 36 hours per week, from 07:00 PM to 07:30 AM, with rotating weekends.
- Required Qualifications: ASN degree from an accredited School of Nursing, current RN license in the state of practice, BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS certification, 1+ years of nursing experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree of Nursing, TNCC certification.
- Specific Competencies: Nursing care, health data assessment, health teaching, health counseling, therapy and treatment planning, medical function execution, patient referral, treatment plan monitoring, documentation, resource utilization, previous RN experience.
- Additional Information: May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications. May be placed on-call during scheduled shift.
