Job Details
- Position Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) maintains the delivery of quality care by ensuring the nursing care plan is followed. The RN supervises Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and orientees.
- Qualifications: Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required prior to the first shift. Valid ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification is required prior to the first shift for CIRH only. A minimum of two (2) years of bedside clinical experience is required. Education requirements include an active nursing license. No specific experience minimum beyond clinical experience is specified.
- Schedule: Night shift hours, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: The RN performs nursing assessments within the first 8 hours of patient admission, participates in patient education and discharge planning, and supports patient safety initiatives. They are responsible for thorough documentation, effective communication, and supervision of ancillary staff. Opportunities for professional development and charge responsibilities are available following orientation.
