Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) registered nurse position available in a fast-paced, high-acuity adult and pediatric emergency department. The role involves providing urgent care in a Level I trauma facility with extensive experience handling complex cases, including performing admission work for boarded patients. Orientation is scheduled to commence on October 5, 2026, with a requirement for prior trauma experience and familiarity with Cerner electronic medical records. The position requires working every other weekend or alternating weekends and holidays as needed.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid FL or compact license, at least 2 years of recent ER experience, prior Level I trauma hospital experience, proficiency with Cerner EMR, ACLS and BLS certifications, CPI certification prior to start, and pass EKG exam during orientation.
- Preferred Qualifications: Prior travel experience in a Level I trauma facility, excellent clinical and admission skills, ability to manage high patient volumes efficiently.
- Additional Information: Orientation begins on 10/05/2026. Scrub colors required: Royal Blue. Must be capable of handling admission responsibilities for boarded patients, with some floating as required by the health system. Must pass an EKG exam during orientation.
