- Position Description: Neuro Intensive Care Unit RN B51 for 12-hour night shifts (7 PM 7 AM). Prior travel experience is required for all Centra positions. Charge responsibility may be required, and the RN will receive the appropriate training and pay differential. The unit primarily manages neuro diagnoses, surgical and medical. The environment includes electronic fetal monitoring, wound vacuums, IV pumps, pulse oximeters, chest tubes, and other advanced medical devices.
- Required Qualifications: RN license, Bachelors Degree in Nursing, 2 years of ICU experience, prior travel experience, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications, COVID/Flu vaccination or declination.
- Preferred Qualifications: Teaching hospital experience, minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience in critical care.
- Additional Information: All RTO must be submitted and approved prior to acceptance. No local travelers under 60 miles accepted. The facility is a teaching hospital where staff often interact with students and new hires, expecting support and professionalism from all team members. The position involves working with advanced neuro diagnoses and medical devices, with opportunities for assignment extensions to ensure adequate staffing during holiday seasons.
