Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS/Tele) registered nurse position in an acute hospital setting. The role involves providing patient care to adult and geriatric populations, with an emphasis on telemetry monitoring and oncology experience preferred. This assignment offers an opportunity to work in a Magnet-designated facility recognized for level II trauma care.
Job Details
- Certifications and Requirements: BLS certification; applicable medical surgical and telemetry experience; AK registered nurse license in hand for auto-offer; must complete AK RN license application within 48 hours of signing.
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 48 hours per week.
- Additional Responsibilities: Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs; experience with chemo administration preferred but not required.
- Submission Requirements: Must include responses to specific candidate questions regarding prior experience at a Providence facility, references covering at least 1 year (or 6 months for CNAs) within the last 3 years, and verification of AK RN license prior to start.
- Preferred Qualifications: Oncology experience, chemo administration experience, and familiarity with electronic charting systems like Epic.
- Open to: First-time travelers.
- Assignment Length: 13 or 20 weeks, starting ASAP.
- RTO Restrictions: All time off must be approved upon offer, with all requests included during submittal; not accommodating extensive RTO beyond 7 days.
