Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse in a Level II Trauma center located in the region. This role involves providing expert circulating and scrubbing support for a variety of surgical cases, including trauma, urogynecological, orthopedic, neuro, plastic, and robotic surgeries. The nurse will collaborate effectively with anesthesia, surgeons, and the healthcare team to ensure efficient patient care and surgical operations.
Job Details
- Certifications: RN license for MD or Compact State, BLS, and CPI certification required; CNOR preferred.
- Education Requirements: Active RN license, BLS, CPI; minimum of 5 years of experience in circulating/scrubbing roles, with at least 2 years in a charge RN capacity within OR/Trauma-2.
- Location Requirements: Must hold MD state license or Compact License.
- Experience Requirements: At least 5 years in circulating/scrubbing OR roles; 2 years running daily operations in a charge nurse role within a Trauma-2 unit.
- Schedule: Days, 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, with a start date of 09/28/2026 and end date of 12/28/2026.
- Responsibilities include managing trauma and emergent cases, communicating effectively with multidisciplinary teams, and prioritizing cases based on acuity.
- The role requires experience with a broad range of surgical procedures, including robotic and minimally invasive surgeries.
- Additional information: Must be comfortable floating within scope to other campuses as needed, including within the specialty area.
