Job Summary:
The healthcare provider is seeking an Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) for a tier 5 specialty role focused on gynecology, urology, and transplant procedures. The position involves working day and evening shifts, with responsibilities including robotic surgeries and complex procurements. This role requires a minimum of two years of recent acute care experience in the relevant specialty.
Job Details:
- Position Description: Tier 5 Gynecology/ Urology/Transplant RN This role involves supporting kidney transplant, gynecology, and urological robotic surgeries, including procedures such as nephrectomy, cystectomy, HOLEP, and more. The position requires experience with robotic surgical systems, particularly the Da Vinci Xi.
- Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association) required. RN Licensure required.
- Education Requirements: RN license.
- Location Requirements: Inpatient RN travelers must have at least two years of acute care experience within the last three years in the relevant specialty.
- Experience: Minimum of two years of recent acute care experience in the specialty, with additional preference for experience in charge roles and patient ratio familiarity.
- Schedule: Days and evenings, 12-hour shifts, minimum 48 hours per week. Start date: 09/28/2026; End date: 03/01/2027.
- Additional Responsibilities: Support for complex surgical procedures, participation in weekend rotations, and call requirements. Must pass pass/fail telemetry testing with strict criteria in two attempts, including adult and pediatric cardiac rhythm identification.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with trauma levels I and II, community hospital experience, and additional certifications are preferred.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Submittal Requirements: All candidates must meet the specified clinical and certification criteria and be able to pass the telemetry exam as outlined.
