Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor Nurse in a healthcare facility setting. This position involves providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced, diverse medical-surgical environment. The role requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to develop and evaluate individualized care plans that incorporate physiological, psychosocial, and spiritual assessments, ensuring positive patient outcomes.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Active Michigan license verification (LARA and Nursys). Valid BLS (AHA) certification. Two or more years of experience in a medical-surgical setting. Experience on Level II or Level I trauma units is required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Travel experience and a strong knowledge base in cardiac, trauma, or surgical patient care.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: Candidates must adhere to a strict 3 strike attendance policy, with specific provisions for illness or hospitalization. The unit offers a dynamic environment with a focus on evidence-based, holistic care and interdisciplinary collaboration. New team members will receive comprehensive orientation and ongoing support to foster professional growth.
