Job Description
The Emergency Department is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide top-quality care in a fast-paced environment. The department serves as a Level II trauma center and comprehensive stroke center, handling high volumes of emergency cases. Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and support in a high-volume emergency setting.
- Work effectively in a team environment to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Facilitate timely assessments and interventions for patients presenting with acute conditions.
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient records using the Cerner system.
- Adhere to hospital policies and protocols to ensure patient safety and compliance.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in an emergency department setting.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Certifications:
- ACLS within hire date
- BLS within hire date
- PALS within hire date
- TNCC within hire date
- CPI within hire date
- NIHSS within hire date
- ENPC within 90 days of hire
- Experience in a Level II trauma center or high-volume ED preferred.
- Strong teamwork mentality with the ability to coach and give feedback in real-time.
- Flexibility to float to different sections within the Emergency Department as needed.
