Patient Ratio: 1:5
Certifications: ACLS, BLS
Education: ADN or BSN
EMR: Meditech
Patient Population: Adult/geriatric, occasional pediatric
Key Skills: IVs, Foley, pain management, EMAR
Common Cases: COPD, pneumonia, hip fractures, AMS, falls, UTI, abdominal pain
Weekends: Rotating
Call: None
Floating: None
Local Rule: Must live 60+ miles from the facility to qualify as a traveler
Orientation: Mondays
Scrubs: Any; no casual wear
Environment: 25-bed critical access hospital, friendly and compassionate team.
