Our client in Louisiana is seeking an experienced Hematology/Oncology Nurse Practitioner for a 90-day assignment starting Dec 5, 2026. This role involves managing a high-volume practice with complex patients, focusing on significant coordination of care in an outpatient clinic and infusion suite setting. The schedule typically runs from 8am-5pm, with occasional Saturday morning call rotations.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage a high-volume practice caring for complex patients with co-morbidities
- Provide significant coordination of care for patients
- Work until the completion of the last chemo/biotherapy each day
- Follow a full panel of patients in a clinic setting
- Conduct treatment visits, follow-ups, and new patient appointments
- Provide care in an outpatient infusion suite with 16 infusion chairs
- Perform no inpatient rounding

- Call Schedule: Rotate Saturday call 8am to noon, approximately once every 3 months
