- Multiple shifts -- days, swing (1 pm - 1 am, 3 pm - 3 am), and nights
- Day census of 243 with 40 admits per day
- Night shift -- cross cover on 280 - 300 patients, 6 - 7 admits per nocturnist
- 7 - 9 swing admits per shift
- Inpatient hospital setting
- No procedures required -- nocturnists cross cover and respond to rapids
- We negotiate better pay and deposit it weekly
