Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to laboring patients in a high-acuity Labor and Delivery setting on an 18-bed unit
- Float as needed to Mother Antepartum Unit (MAU), Mother Baby Unit (MBU), and OB Special Care (OBSC)
- Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and patient management
- Operate Triton and SurgiCount systems as required
- Adhere to all compliance requirements including completion of unit-based orientation modules
- Pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed, required of all RN travelers regardless of specialty)
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience (first-time travelers welcome)
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Must pass compliance EKG exam prior to start
- Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification preferred
- Experience with high-acuity laboring patients
- Familiarity with Triton and SurgiCount systems
